Ignition ICT / Fibre and digital infrastructure
Certified from connector to core.
Ignition installs and verifies the physical layer that every connected system depends on, combining fibre splicing and optical testing with standards-based copper cabling and disciplined rack infrastructure.
Fibre installation and fusion splicing
Single-mode and multimode fibre is routed, prepared and fusion spliced with attention to bend radius, containment, protection and clean connector end faces. Enclosures and patching are labelled for maintainable operation.
OTDR testing and fault location
Optical Time Domain Reflectometer traces measure events along the fibre, helping identify splice loss, connector reflection, excessive bends, breaks and distance to faults. Results provide a traceable baseline for the installed link.
Optical-loss certification
End-to-end insertion loss and polarity are tested against the link design and applicable cabling standards. Certification records confirm that installed links meet their intended performance before active equipment is commissioned.
Structured copper cabling
Cat5e through Cat8 cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7 and Cat8) is selected to match application, channel length, shielding and bandwidth requirements. Permanent links are terminated, labelled, then tested and certified for wiremap, length, return loss and crosstalk, with certification records issued.
Racks and physical infrastructure
Rack layouts, patching, cable management, UPS provision and equipment power are coordinated with network and AV requirements. Clear labelling and accurate records turn the physical installation into a serviceable technical asset.
