Ignition ICT / AI

A digital footprint of the yacht .

We are building an AI bot that maps the vessel's entire onboard IT infrastructure, every switch, server and WAN port, so crew can ask it questions in plain language and get detailed answers, like ChatGPT, but for the vessel. When an answer isn't enough, it escalates straight to a 24/7/365 engineer.

  • Complete infrastructure mapping

The AI builds a live digital footprint of the onboard IT estate: switches and their ports, servers and their roles, WAN links and how everything connects. The map stays current, so every answer is grounded in what is actually on board.

  • Ask the vessel anything

Crew ask questions in plain language, about a switch, a server or a WAN port, and the AI replies in detail: what the device is, how it is configured and how it fits into the rest of the network. No command-line knowledge required.

  • Fault-finding and support

When something goes wrong, the AI walks the crew through fault-finding step by step against the vessel's own mapped infrastructure, identifying the failing link, port or service and pointing to the fix, day or night.

  • Escalation to a 24/7/365 engineer

If the issue can't be resolved on board, the AI escalates it with the full context already attached: the mapped infrastructure, the crew's own description of the fault and what has been tried, straight to an Ignition engineer, 24/7/365.
