IT, AV and communications support .
Ignition provides IT, AV and communications support with 24/7/365 ticketing, and behind the ticketing is the human element: engineers, not automated responses. That support is delivered by an experienced core team and a network of trusted delivery partners, so when an issue needs more than first-line support it escalates straight to the right specialist. And with Starlink and other fibre-like services now available at sea, the vessel is supported like any normal land-based IT asset.
24/7/365 ticket submission
Every ticket is logged, tracked and owned from first report through to resolution, with the human element at the centre: tickets for the vessel's IT, AV and communications systems can be raised at any time, every day of the year.
Specialists behind every escalation
First-line support is backed by an experienced core team and a network of trusted delivery partners working 24/7/365 on specialist IT issues, so escalation from first-line support reaches a subject-matter expert in networking, servers, AV or communications, at any hour, wherever the vessel is.
The vessel as a land-based IT asset
With Starlink and other fibre-like LEO services now available at sea, vessel connectivity supports the same management tooling as any shore-side network: remote monitoring, secure remote access, patching and configuration management of switches, servers, WAN ports and wireless, with faults diagnosed and often resolved remotely before they are felt onboard.
From bridge to comms rack
Support extends across the vessel's IT, AV and communications infrastructure, and where hands-on work is needed, it is backed by our own engineers for structured cabling, RF planning and fibre optics, onboard or wherever the vessel is berthed.
