Encrypted digital two-way radio designed, installed and commissioned for reliable coverage from the bridge to the engine room.

• TETRA radio systems

  ETSI EN 300 392 trunked networks using four-slot TDMA on 25 kHz channels. Encrypted with TEA air-interface encryption, supporting group and individual calls, full-duplex telephony, priority and emergency calling, and fast call set-up for time-critical crew operations.

• DMR radio systems

  ETSI TS 102 361 Tier II and Tier III systems using two-slot TDMA on 12.5 kHz channels, giving two simultaneous voice paths per repeater. AES-256 encryption, text messaging, GPS location and IP Site Connect for linking multiple repeaters into one network.

• RF design and coverage

  Propagation planning and site surveys across every deck, including engine rooms, tenders and steel compartments. Repeater placement, antenna selection and radiating cable or DAS distribution, verified by post-installation coverage testing.

• Infrastructure and installation

  Repeaters and base stations, combiners, duplexers and filters, antennas and coaxial runs, with VSWR and return-loss testing on sign-off. Dispatch consoles and fleet programming of handheld and fixed terminals.

• Integration

  Interfacing radio with telephony, PA and general alarm, service-call and monitoring systems, so crew receive calls, alerts and messages on the same handset across the vessel or site.
