Ignition ICT / Satellite connectivity

Resilient links across multiple orbits.

Satellite connectivity is an end-to-end network discipline. Ignition brings together LEO and MEO services, vessel or site terminals, terrestrial WAN links and the control layer that keeps critical traffic moving.

  • LEO and MEO architecture

Low Earth orbit delivers short propagation paths and lower latency through fast-moving satellite constellations. Medium Earth orbit provides wider footprints from fewer spacecraft. We engineer the terminal, network and routing architecture around the operational profile of the vessel or site.

  • Starlink

Starlink flat-panel terminals can provide high-throughput LEO connectivity at sea and on land. We integrate terminals into the wider network, applying policy-based routing, traffic control and automatic failover rather than treating one service as the complete connectivity strategy.

  • Eutelsat OneWeb

Eutelsat OneWeb adds an enterprise-focused LEO option within a combined GEO and LEO satellite network. It can form part of a resilient multi-orbit design where route diversity, service availability and managed capacity matter.

  • Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is Amazon's developing LEO satellite network, formerly known as Project Kuiper. We assess emerging terminal and service options against coverage, capacity, integration and operational requirements as commercial availability develops.

  • Multi-WAN control

Satellite links work alongside 5G, shore fibre, VSAT and other WAN services. Firewalls and SD-WAN policies monitor path health, steer applications by priority and move traffic between available links without relying on manual intervention.
